During the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC – 9 AD), there lived a court lady renowned for her intelligence, grace, and unrivalled beauty — Wang Zhaojun.
When the emperor arranged for a peace marriage with a northern tribal leader, Zhaojun was chosen to represent the Han Empire. Her journey north became the stuff of legend.

As she travelled beyond the Great Wall, a flock of wild geese soared above her caravan. When they caught sight of her ethereal beauty, they faltered in the sky — their wings stilled, and they fell to the earth. From that day, she was remembered as “the beauty who caused the wild geese to fall.”

Design & Craftsmanship
