According to the famous tale, Wang Zhaojun travelled north from the Han Empire to marry a northern tribal leader. As a flock of wild geese flew overhead, they were said to have been so captivated by her beauty that they forgot to flap their wings and fell from the sky – earning her the legendary description “the beauty who caused the wild geese to fall.”

The Wang Zhaojun Playing Cards bring this story to life through traditional Chinese-inspired artwork, with custom Jokers depicting scenes from her journey north.
